Critical Sequence Publisher

Effective October 13, 2026

Privacy policy

Critical Sequence Publisher is a private desktop tool for the Critical Sequence channel operator. It uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API only after an authorized operator grants access.

Data the tool accesses

The tool reads the authorized YouTube channel’s name and ID to confirm the intended destination. It uses an OAuth refresh token to request access when needed. For selected uploads, it sends the video file, title, description, caption files, thumbnail, visibility setting, and any operator-supplied comment to YouTube. It reads upload, processing, and publication status. Google’s permission screen describes the full scope of access granted; the tool does not use that scope to delete existing channel content.

Why and where data is used

The tool uses this information to publish only content the operator selects and to verify the result. OAuth credentials and upload receipts are stored on the operator’s computer in files restricted to that local account. There is no publisher web server, account database, advertising system, or analytics service receiving YouTube account data. Google and YouTube process the data needed to provide OAuth and the YouTube API.

Retention and sharing

Local credentials and receipts remain until the operator deletes them. Published content remains on YouTube under the channel owner’s control. The tool does not sell Google user data or share it with advertisers. This informational website is hosted by Vercel, which may process ordinary site request metadata to deliver these pages; the website does not receive the tool’s OAuth credentials or YouTube account data.

Revoking access

The operator can revoke this app’s Google access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future API access; the operator can separately delete the local credentials and receipts. For questions, use the support contact shown on the Google consent screen.
